Bingo!
|
This limited edition archival inkjet features one of several Storm Thorgerson projects for the Steve Miller Band. This album cover art design for Bingo! makes a real statement. “Steve Miller Band – difficult to pin down”, says Storm. Guitarists exchanging musical licks? Cowboys throwing rhymes? Chairs, pears, teddy bears … all very peculiar, but so Storm Thorgerson. It made him smile and it makes us smile too. Printed on Fourdrinier Heritage paper in a small edition of only 50, every print has been countersigned by Steve Miller himself at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA, before his gig there in May 2011. In the photos below you can see Steve signing – and holding a message he scriblled for Storm – in front of the incredible industrial backdrop of SteelStacks. |
Signed by: Storm Thorgerson Image size: 24 x 19 inches / Paper size: 31 x 26 inches Edition size: 50 Print type: Archival Inkjet (Giclée)
