Description
Dreamers Stadium
Dreamers Stadium is a limited edition archival inkjet on Hahnemühle Fine Art Watercolour paper featuring album cover artwork designed by Storm Thorgerson for The Plea.
The Plea’s anthemic songwriting on this debut album is matched in quality by this dreamy, dramatic, almost sci-fi photographic cover by Storm. It was shot at West Hoathly Tunnel, part of the Bluebell Railway, a heritage line using steam trains that run along the border between East and West Sussex, England, UK. Familiar kinds of questions, in Storm Thorgerson’s world, are raised here: What is happening? Are these boys under a spell? What do the lights represent? Is this a protest or a homage?
Whatever the questions and answers, one thing is for sure: Storm was a force to be reckoned with, right to the end.
