These limited edition Peter Blake Pop Art Badges were designed for Pallant House Gallery on the occasion of their 2006 exhibition.

Each badge features one of his best-known motifs: the heart, star, target and flag stripe, in the vibrant Pop Art colours for which his is known.

This iconography will be familiar to anyone aware of Sir Peter Blake’s work, distilled in his late career and exemplified in this set; his Motif Suite published in 2010; and Everybody Razzle Dazzle, his decoration of the Mersey commuter ferry Snowdrop for the Liverpool Biennial 2015. 

For music fans it will be Paul Weller’s 1995 album, Stanley Road – designed by Sir Peter – that comes to mind and perhaps his lesser known cover for Pentangle, Sweet Child.
