A Collection Of Great Dance Songs

This limited edition archival inkjet print features the original artwork that graced Pink Floyd’s 1981 compilation album A Collection of Great Dance Songs.

Tongue-in-cheek title aside, this short-but-sweet compilation makes a convincing case for latter-day Pink Floyd as solid students of rock-pop song craft. Pink Floyd are not known for making particularly dance-able music.

This image, designed by Hipgnosis under the pseudonym T.C.P. (Thorgerson, Christopherson and Powell) is perhaps a little play on that, featuring ballroom dancers guyed to the ground so they cannot move.

Printed in beautiful archival inkjet on a Somerset Enhanced paper.
