Enormosound

This limited edition archival inkjet presents a powerful cover image created by Storm Thorgerson for Healing Sixes – a new band working with an old hand. Kevin Shirley, who had previously worked as a producer with Led Zeppelin amongst many others, cemented the connection to Storm through Led Zep already in place via Healing Sixes’ founding member Jason Bonham (John Bonham’s son). Storm unpacked the imagery for Hypergallery, in his typical style.

“This picture is concerned with what is going to happen next, not what is happening now. In this case, his reflection in the water i.e. his image, is about to be shattered by his falling. What causes him to do this? Well it’s probably too complex to be identified, and is instead represented by a round wooden ball known as the Great Ball of Worry, pressing down on his back- the weight of the world on his shoulders, so to speak.”

The edition has been printed on a Somerset paper by the esteemed Coriander Studios in London, UK.
