This extraordinary limited edition David Bowie print reveals an outtake from the Hunky Dory cover shoot. Coloured masterfully by Terry Pastor in the same palette used for the original album cover.

Hunky Dory Take 2 and Take 3, along with their Swarovski Crystal-embellished versions, exemplify the rare talent with an airbrush still wielded to perfection by Pastor. It is a breathtakingly beautiful piece of work, published by the artist himself.

David Bowie’s legendary 1970s album covers for Hunky Dory and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, were both designed by Pastor. Ziggy Stardust propelled the flamboyant Bowie to fame in the early 1970s, but it was Hunky Dory on which the artist first impressed the musician.

This beautiful print is limited to only 50 copies. Signed, numbered and blind stamped by the artist.

An extra-limited edition of 15 from the same images is available, embellished with hand applied Swarovski diamantes.
