Don’t Look Back In Anger Pair

This pair of prints showcases the artwork to Oasis’s seminal anthem, Don’t Look Back in Anger. The front cover image was made in an edition of 100, with only 25 of those matched by the back cover and available as the diptych you see here. The contrast of scale from the back cover pulls out the detail in the front cover image to great effect, though they both work beautifully as standalone prints. So, whether hung together or apart these two prints give your musical memories a stunning visual expression.

The imagery was inspired by the tale of Beatles producer, George Martin, covering Ringo Starr’s drum kit in flowers as gesture of love and gratitude after Starr’s short absence from the band.

5,000 red, white and blue carnations were used to shower Oasis’ equipment for this historic cover. The scene was photographed on Polaroid film by Michael Spencer Jones using a 5 x 4 plate camera. He has returned to that source material in the production of these wonderful editions.
